This person must be located in the Montreal area and fluent in French and English.
How You’ll Make an Impact
The Sales Account Manager will grow Valvoline Global market share within the assigned region, increasing distribution and portfolio penetration while ensuring national strategy execution through distributors. This role will find, develop and strengthen business partnerships with key customers and/or distributors, while developing their capabilities and ensuring their alignment. In the role, you would be responsible for:
- Grow sales and profits with new accounts as well, organically to existing accounts.
- Channel management: Own the distributor relationship; develop and lead execution of distributor annual business plan; contracting; conduct business performance reviews; manage the DC relationship; Develop and enrich relationships with key installers personnel in management, sales, operations, and customer service.
- Train and develop distributor sales reps, managers, and customers / Face to face with regional key accounts and direct installers.
- Marketing local execution and leadership: pricing intelligence; promotion planning; competitor benchmarking; activations, Valvoline marketing programs execution; Mkt Coop planning, implementation
- Analyze performance of the assigned territory using various computer applications
- Develop sales plans and strategies for the assigned territory, to grow gross profit and volumes
- Internal reporting, self-training, and administrative tasks
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3 - 5 years of experience in sales through distributors in the automotive aftermarket industry.
- Previous experience in a multinational company
- Analytical skills, organizational agility, and critical thinking
- Excellent Microsoft skills
Ability to lift up to 25 Kilograms
