R&D Lab Intern

We are seeking an Intern to join our R&D team. In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Characterize coolant samples using HPLC, ICP, pH probe, titration, IC, LC, GC, denitometer, refractometer, UV-Vis and Karl Fisher
• Data entry into QC software
• Participate in special projects in the lab, including working with automotive chemicals
• Comply with Valvoline safety rules and EHS policy
• Help data collection and analysis
• Help cleaning lab ware and waste disposal

Requirements:

• Knowledge in general chemistry, math and physics
• Laboratory experience is a plus
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Software
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Education:

• Pursuing Bachelors' (must be enrolled in classes) in Chemical or Science related preferred
• Completed High School Diploma
