Job overview: 

Assist advanced planner to complete the production plan creation, assist to track the arrival of raw materials to ensure the implementation of the production plan.

Responsibilities:

  1.  Create daily raw materials and packages delivery plan basing on production schedule.
    •    checking capacity and converting planned orders to process orders and purchase requisitions.
    •    executing production including checking material availability, printing shop floor papers, confirming process orders and transferring materials from inventory 
    •    ensuring maximum usage of available capacity and effective deployment of labor, tools and equipment.
    •    maintaining records of production levels and monitor progress against plans and schedules.
  2.  Print worker safety labels, transport labels, customer branded labels, export labels and other supplemental labels established for printing through Global Label Management.
  3.  Assist with miscellaneous duties to support day to day operations including creating shipping paperwork, returns, process orders, inventory, etc.
  4.  Work closely with planning team to effectively manage new products, promotions and any scheduled or unscheduled downtime.
  5.  Defines, prepares and analyzes production and efficiency reports and trends.  
  6.  Assist ICC in investigation of variances related to material movements and purchases that require validation.
  7.  Other tasks assigned by leaders.

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor and major in Supply Chain/Business/Engineering/Chemical.  
  • 5-8 years working experiences in chemical industry and 3-5 years for production scheduling with SAP/ERP systems. And experience in working on planning tool like Infor will be added advantages.
  • Fundamental knowledge of process plant (Chemical/Lube/Paint) is required.
  • Prior Blending/Filling experiences in Lube, Paint will be added advantages.  
  • Knowledge of production planning and control i.e. process order, planned order, WIP, Inventory management, scheduling etc. is required.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Familiar with SAP or other ERP systems, especially for PP/MM module.
  • APICS knowledge or certification will be added advantages.
  • Good in reading and writing English.
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to interface effectively with people from all levels of the organization
  • Ability to display initiative and time management.
  • Ability to work in conditions with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, travel and specific time constraints
  • Must be able to make plans / change plans / keeping big picture in mind and comfortable with changes
  • Team player and self-Learner.
