About the role
Valvoline has a fantastic opportunity for a Material Attendant to join our team in Wetherill Park.
This is a full-time permanent role that covers our day shift (6:00am – 1:54pm).
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will package Valvoline products as directed by the Leading Hand, and in accordance with the requirements of the company’s Standard Practice Instructions, and in line with Quality and WHS policies.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Accurately packaging Valvoline products
- Accurately recording on repack sheets the work that has been completed
- Operating equipment to fill designated containers as per production plan
- Reporting equipment failures
- Loading and unloading road tankers and operate associated equipment as required
To be successful, you will have:
- Current Forklift Licence
- Previous production line experience will be highly regarded
- Mechanical or electrical understanding will be highly regarded
- Willingness to learn
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Great communication and organisation skills
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills
