Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity for a Strategic Partnerships Manager. The Strategic Partnerships Manager will spearhead deeper expansion into the data center cooling market. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in data center operations and/or liquid cooling technologies, combined with strong business development skills. The ideal candidate will establish and nurture strategic partnerships with chip manufacturers, server makers, and liquid cooling hardware providers, aiming to integrate our advanced cooling fluids and solutions into their operation. Candidate must have an entrepreneurial spirit, collaborative approach, ability to manage projects with cross-functional colleagues, and be willing to push the organization into new ways of operating.

 

This role will focus on...

 

Strategic Partnership Development

  • Identify and engage potential industry partners, including chip manufacturers, server makers, and cooling system providers, to develop strategic alliances and promote the adoption of our cooling fluids and solutions.

 

Market Penetration Strategy & Pipeline Development

  • Develop and execute market entry and penetration strategies tailored for high performance computing sectors, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Build and manage a prospective business pipeline for tracking progress and forecasting growth in these sectors.

 

Technical Sales Support

  • Provide expert technical support during client interactions, demonstrating the benefits and applications of our cooling fluids and solutions to facilitate sales processes.

 

Industry Presence and Networking

  • Actively represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events around the globe to enhance brand visibility and forge new business relationships.

 

Feedback and Market Intelligence

  • Collect and analyze market feedback and competitive intelligence to inform product development and innovation strategies.

 

What you'll bring...

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Business Administration or continued post-secondary education in a related technical field.
  • Required: a minimum of 7+ years experience in a B2B sales account management or business development role along with at least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or technical roles within the data center, liquid cooling, semiconductor, or related industries.
  • Preferred: Experience in managing strategic partnerships and technical sales in the technology sector.
  • Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or business development (e.g., Certified Business Development Professional) are preferred but not required.
