Job Purpose

The Sr. Marketing Manager – KSA drives sustainable and profitable business growth by leading marketing strategy, trade programs, and brand development. The role ensures effective execution of global brand initiatives, channel marketing, and customer engagement strategies in alignment with regional goals. This position collaborates closely with sales, distributors, VGO Global Equity, Aramco PA and EMEA marketing teams to strengthen brand equity and market presence.

 

How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)

1.    Retail/Trade & Channel Marketing Management:

  • Development and in-market execution of market-driven trade marketing programs/initiatives in KSA (e.g. product launches, promotions, brand campaigns, field activations).
  • Responsible for the development of annual trade marketing plans and Joint Marketing Plans with distributors and key customers, Marketing Support Funds (MSF) and Sales Support Funds (SSF) budget management, impact maximization and oversight.
  • Identification of potential customers and business case development for the expansion of the branded workshop concept network (EC + AC) in addition to tailored annual marketing plans for the network in KSA.
  • Lead in market execution and refinement of TVD (trade value proposition) and CVP (Customer Value Proposition).

 

2.    Marketing Strategy & Planning:

  • Support the development and lead execution of insight based and quantitative-derived strategy for KSA in alignment with the EMEA marketing team.
  • Ensure having the right plans in place fully aligned to the business goals and strategy, in a timely manner while collaborating with sales teams on joint distributor planning. Define KPIs / ROI Metrics.
  • Deliver strategy and selling proposition for targeted customer segments including differentiated solutions to boost customer experience, through a profitable business partnership with the channel.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on integrated business plans.

 

3.    Brand & Product Strategy:

  • Lead the implementation of brand building and development efforts across different channels in KSA. Develop and ensure effective execution of solid brand guidelines, promotional toolkits, influencer initiatives and above the line campaigns individually and in partnership with Aramco.
  • Support product launches and Management team in driving recommendations for product line offering / extensions (through local or international sourcing).
  • Sourcing and pricing in line with market requirements and supply capabilities, based on market needs - while driving revenue and margin growth potential, and ensure consistency with global brand standards

 


4.    Team & Capabilities Development:

  • Support the development of a high-performing, talented and diverse marketing team in KSA, while driving improvement across the marketing organization processes, knowledge and capabilities in order to deliver effectively from the strategy/initiative conception to execution.

 

 

5.    Reporting & Analytics:

  • Compile and share monthly business performance reporting, contribute to monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

 

 

What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities)

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience defining, developing and building marketing and commercial strategies to support business growth and ROI required.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years in a global or regional leadership role.Multicultural supervisory/leadership experience and cross functional collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills; ability to translate data into insights and actions.
  • Previous diverse experience in a multinational company (FMCG + Lubricants preferred)
  • English and Arabic high proficiency
  • Strategic thinking - analytics proficiency with ability to turn complex data into key insights. Goes beyond surface situation analysis to link issues and opportunities to create more effective strategies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to build partnerships and influence others outside of span of control
  • Prior budget and financial management experience
  • Communication - Ability to work cross-culturally as cross-functionally.  Constructs information flow and recommendations with clear rationale, understanding and enrollment by broad internal and external audiences.  Can develop compelling and persuasive materials and address potential counterarguments.  
  • Media - understanding and experience with digital and traditional media, planning and optimization at local levels (a plus).
  • Promotion development and execution - understands business situation and applies appropriate tactics, timing and lead-times to capture business opportunity.
