Job overview:
The Planner to manage supply planning including inhouse manufacturing and external 3rd party. To Optimize inventory, balance the service level and production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- System rule design and data maintenance: Sales Org / Default plant / Source list / MRP setting -- 10%.
- Material classification ABC / MRP Type and safety stock review -- 5%.
- Regular inventory replenishment plan and deployment plan -- 20%.
- System operation EPR / APS / WMS / DMS -- 15%.
- Raw material rolling forecast and inventory review, strategic supply plan decision. -- 10%.
- Supply capacity review and risk identification. -- 10%
- Supply coordination, prioritize and tradeoff -- 5%.
- Inventory SMOG regular review and rework solution follow up -- 10%.
- New Solution Development and Manage of Change in Planning -- 10%.
- Other responsibility related to demand and supply planning -- 5%.
Requirements:
Bachelor and major in Supply Chain/Business/Chemical
5-8 years working experiences in chemical industry and 3-5 years for demand planning and supply planning with ERP/SAP systems.
Experience in working OMP or other Advanced Planning and Scheduling System will be added advantages.
Prior planning or business analysis experiences in Lubricants, Paint will be added advantages.
Knowledge of supply planning: purchase order, stock transfer order, MRP, inventory management, lead time, service level etc. is required.
Fundamental knowledge of sales and operation planning is required.
Knowledge of international trade: import and export process, incoterms, customs clearance will be added advantages.
Excellent computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiar with SAP or other ERP systems, especially for PP/MM module.
APICS knowledge or certification will be added advantages.
Good in reading and writing English.
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, and an ability to interface effectively with people from all levels of the organization.
Ability to display initiative and time management.
Ability to work in conditions with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, travel, and specific time constraints.
Must be able to make plans / change plans / keeping big picture in mind and comfortable with changes.
Team player and self-Learner.
