Job Purpose
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud Administrator to lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of our Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud platform. This role will focus on delivering scalable and secure B2B digital commerce solutions, supporting business processes, data integrity, and user management, while collaborating with global teams across IT and business functions.
How You Make an Impact
- Configure, customize, and maintain the Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud platform to ensure stability, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
- Monitor platform performance, implement best practices, and optimize workflows and business processes to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee data imports, cleansing, validation, and synchronization using tools such as Data Loader, ensuring consistent and high-quality data across systems.
- Apply and enforce Salesforce security best practices including role hierarchy, sharing rules, field-level security, and compliance requirements.
- Design and manage automated flows, approval processes, and business logic to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.
- Manage user roles, profiles, and permission sets, ensuring secure and compliant access to platform resources.
- Develop and manage custom reports and dashboards to enable performance tracking and informed decision-making.
- Lead and mentor junior administrators, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting best practices within the team.
- Act as a solution lead by collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, communicate solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Work closely with global IT and business teams to ensure cohesive and integrated solutions across the organization.
- Provide Tier 2/3 support, resolving technical issues and supporting end users across business units.
- Support integrations between Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud and third-party/internal systems using standard integration patterns and tools.
- Create training materials and deliver user training sessions. Maintain platform documentation, standard operating procedures, and configuration records.
What You Bring to the Role
- Must possess business-level proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business administration (or higher) in an IT related field
- Technical Background / Degree Program preferred
- 7+ years of Salesforce platform administration and Experience Cloud, with 3+ years specific to Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud, Global experience.
- Strong background in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud administration. Experience working in enterprise or consulting environments with complex, multi-cloud Salesforce implementations.
- Salesforce Certified B2B Commerce Administrator (or Commerce Cloud Administrator)
- Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201)
- Salesforce Platform App Builder (nice to have)
Competencies Desired
- Expertise in Salesforce B2B Commerce setup, catalog configuration, buyer group setup, entitlements, and storefront management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration: custom objects, fields, record types, roles, and page layouts.
- Proficiency in data tools for migration, loading, and cleansing.
- Working knowledge of Flows and other declarative tools for automation.
- Basic proficiency in SOQL and APEX for administrative-level troubleshooting and queries.
- Experience creating actionable reports and dashboards.
- Strong analytical thinking with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to translate business needs into effective Salesforce solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Comfort working in fast-paced, agile environments with global stakeholders.
Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Travel Requirements
