The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing the day-to-day responsibilities working in a distribution warehouse. They will oversee safety and regulatory compliance, achieve site metrics that ensures on time delivery, investigate customer complaints, to facilitate warehouse efficiency.
Pay range: $75,000-$80,000 per year
How You Make an Impact
- Logistics coordinating with carriers to ensure inbound and outbound delivery schedules are met.
- Ensure warehouse KPIs are met.
- Manage inventory control processes for the warehouse.
- Ensure safety culture is maintained.
- Ensure the warehouse is maintained in a clean and organized fashion.
- Provide specific job-related training for employees and very that other site-specific training is completed.
- Operational oversight to ensure workflow is efficiently completed on a timely basis.
- Coordinate and schedule department PTO.
- Optimize warehouse space and workflow to improve efficiency.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You Bring to the Role
- College degree or equivalent
- 3 + years working in a shipping and receiving warehouse
- Strong supervisory and communication skills
- Effective conflict resolution skills
- Capability for coaching, mentoring, and growing direct reports
- Must have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and RF tracking technology
- Prior experience with SAP or similar systems
- Previous experience providing forklift operation certification and retraining.
- Basic familiarity with OSHA regulations (i.e. break time, lunch periods, PPE requirements, etc.)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to navigate changes smoothly.
- Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50lbs., bend and pick up cased goods up to 15% of day. They will also sit/walk for long periods of time throughout the facility.
- Environment: Non-climate-controlled warehouse as well as controlled office setting.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 10% (domestic travel)
