Valvoline Global Operations EMEA has a rewarding opportunity for a Regional Business Manager - Croatia & Slovenia.

 

This is a sales role with the primary goal to build strong partnership in the respective markets and to achieve all short- and long-term goals. This role considers establishing, building, and maintaining business by attracting, developing, and managing existing and new WD (spare parts distributors) and traditional distributors in the industry and building a distributor network. The person in this position is responsible for driving business growth through multiple commercial channels and segments in given geography (Slovenia and Croatia). This position must manage multiple priorities, requiring continuous interaction with various internal and external stakeholders such as clients, sales colleagues, legal department, technical department.

 

In this role you'll be...

  • Developing Croatian and Slovenian lubricant market and managing both sales channels, WD and TD network and sales:
  • Building WD and TD partners capability to achieve operational excellence.
  • Enable new project pipeline; direct customers, tenders, other opportunities manageable with WD, TD or directly.
  • Actively visiting in field WD and TD branches, transfer know how and take feedback. Provide Market intelligence.
  • Organize trimester reviews (continuous performance for each WD, TD partner)
  • Create 1:1 weekly meeting with key stakeholders.
  • Provide forecasts for market and Valvoline market shares.
  • Create monthly report for each given market and sales channel.

 

  • Achieving results:
  • Be responsible for given metric task in given territories (Countries) in Volume, GP.
  • Work on building WD (spare parts distributor) partners as part of basic European strategy
  • Work on traditional distribution channels across given region through selected distributors.
  • Connecting and visiting major clients with distributors to secure business.
  • Main liaison between clients and the technical department, responsible for gaining customer trust.
  • Introducing clients to Valvoline product segments, acting as an ambassador for all products, and providing sales support on all platforms.
  • Sharing best practices in application with different clients to build trust and facilitate business.
  • Making a full contribution to creating a winning mindset within the sales team and the entire business unit.

 

  • Working on strategy:
  • Contributing building of Valvoline strategy set up by European management team.
  • Working with team and other team leader how to deliver Valvoline strategy on Adriatic level.
  • Understand all gaps, obstacle and other points to deliver strategy.

 

  • Working internally with supportive function:
  • Creating and implementing specific sales and marketing programs in a specific market and sharing best practices with the entire organization.
  • Providing insights to the marketing team about clients, competitors, and the market to help in developing and implementing differentiated product platforms and value-based campaigns.
  • Interaction with the legal department (contracts, in-depth analysis) to clarify any issues related to appropriate contracts, responsibilities, and expectations on both sides.

  • Adhering to occupational health and safety measures in accordance with regulations and employer's internal acts.
  • Respecting work discipline, internal employer regulations, and generally accepted rules of business conduct.
  • Performing other duties in line with the profession as instructed by the supervisor.

 

What you'll need for this role..

  • Bachelor
  • Preferred to work in auto industry.
  • Attitude, aptitude, character and energy.
  • Driving license
  • Proven ability to work with people, to build business relationship, to create strong team and to work in people performance capability.
  • Should enhance sales results in both direct and indirect B2B channels.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into business opportunities.
  • Demonstrated capability in developing close relationships with customers, fostering productive working relationships at all levels, externally and internally.
  • Excellent time management and project management skills.
  • Computer literate, proficient in using software and hardware as a field worker.
  • Besides Slovenian and Croatian, professional knowledge of English is needed, and familiarity with other European languages is considered an advantage.
  • Proven ability to act as a team player, building productive internal and external relationships at all levels within the organization.
  • Outstanding and effective communication skills, adept at communicating with diverse client groups (from production line workers to CEOs and managers).
  • Organized, stable, independent, and self-sufficient.
  • Takes initiative and can successfully handle multiple tasks with minimal direct supervision.
  • Flexible, proactive, and positive.
