How You’ll Make an Impact

• Work directly with internal Valvoline business partners and their external business partners to create and maintain EDI/B2B/A2A relationships.

• Utilize Integration tools to create document transformation maps and systems integrations.

• Utilize Integration tools to establish and maintain connections with partners and systems to allow the exchange of business documents or data.

• Monitor EDI/B2B/A2A systems for errors and failures; work with partners to resolve any issues.

• Develop integration solutions based on Valvoline’s and/or partner's specifications.

• Follow all Valvoline development processes and procedures to ensure the security of Valvoline’s and their business partner’s information.

• Provide status reporting on work assignments and alerts management to deviations from plan.

• Internal: The Integration developer works closely with Valvoline business from several different process areas such as OTB, PTP, FI and HR. They also work closely with Valvoline and MSP Infrastructure teams in Network, Security, Storage Management, Server Management and Database Management and with other IT development and support teams. 

• External: The Integration developer works closely with Valvoline’s business partners (customers, suppliers, banks, logistics providers and service providers) technical teams to create, test, implement and maintain EDI/B2B relationships. Some interaction with non-technical business partners is required.

What You’ll Need

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field of study

• Mulesoft Certified Developer (MCD) certification or equivalent.

• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines for Mulesoft applications.

• Familiarity with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture and REST API integration patterns.

• Proven experience as a Mulesoft Developer, with hands-on expertise in the Mulesoft Anypoint Studio and Anypoint Platform.

• Experience with implementing Mulesoft applications on Mulesoft CloudHub 2.0 with Mule 4 runtime.

• Proficiency in building API-led connectivity solutions, creating RESTful APIs, and leveraging Mulesoft connectors.

• Strong knowledge of integration patterns, web services (SOAP, REST), and event driven architecture.

• Experience building and supporting integrations with SAP S4 Hana.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Experience implementing connections to various data sources by leveraging protocols such as JDBC, HTTPS, LDAP, JMS, SFTP, FTPS, EDIINT AS2, ODATA, etc.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiar with ANSI X12 and EDIFACT EDI standards

• Familiar with XML based standards such as CXML, xCBL or OAIGs
