How You’ll Make an Impact

The Packer plays a key role in warehouse operations by accurately picking, packing, and replenishing automotive products such as wiper blades, filters, and bulbs while utilizing RF scanner technology to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.

 

Responsibilities Include

  • Accurately pick automotive products, including wiper blades, filters, bulbs, and related merchandise, utilizing RF scanner technology to support order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
  • Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring products are handled safely and packaged according to company standards.
  • Process Store-in-a-Box shipments by preparing packing slips, sealing cartons, and coordinating shipments through designated courier services
  • Replenish inventory within designated warehouse locations to maintain product availability and operational efficiency.
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to support inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Investigate inventory variances and assist with inventory reconciliation activities to ensure data integrity.
  • Support leaker management processes, including identifying, containing, and properly handling damaged or leaking products in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment through housekeeping activities, including cardboard breakdown, pallet removal, sweeping, and workspace organization.
  • Assist with administrative and operational tasks related to warehouse processes and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet productivity, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Follow all company safety procedures, operational standards, and quality requirements.
  • Perform other responsibilities as outlined by Valvoline Global Operations, as required.

 

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a pick, pack, and distribution or warehouse environment preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift up to 60 lbs. on an occasional basis and 10-25 lbs. frequently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks for up to 10-hour shifts.
  • Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification as required.
  • Experience using RF scanner technology in a warehouse or distribution setting preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Demonstrated mathematical aptitude and ability to perform basic calculations related to inventory and order fulfillment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to supporting internal and external customer needs.
  • Dedication to maintaining a safe work environment and following all company safety procedures and policies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to changing business needs, and perform effectively in a fast-paced distribution environment.
