How You’ll Make an Impact
The Packer position will be responsible for the picking, packing, and replenishment of automotive products—including wiper blades, oil and air filters, bulbs, and more—using RF scanner technology.
Responsibilities Include
- Perform accurate picking of automotive products (e.g., wiper blades, oil filters, bulbs) using RF scanner technology
- Pack automotive products for shipment, including sealing boxes, labeling, and preparing packing slips for transportation (including "Store in a Box" shipments)
- Replenish stock in assigned locations to maintain inventory availability and accuracy
- Conduct routine cycle counts and support inventory investigations to resolve discrepancies
- Manage leakers and damaged goods in accordance with company safety and handling procedures
- Support general warehouse housekeeping, including breaking down cardboard, removing pallets, sweeping, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Assist with administrative tasks and documentation as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management in support of warehouse operations
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs occasionally and 10–25 lbs frequently throughout the shift
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day)
- Previous experience in a pick/pack role within a distribution or warehouse environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and following standard operating procedures
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and dependable work ethic
What Will Set You Apart
- Prior experience using RF scanner technology and SAP or similar warehouse management systems
- Strong basic math skills, including counting, measuring, and performing simple calculations
- Valid forklift certification or prior forklift operation experience
