At Valvoline, we are passionate about about delivering top-notch service and quality products to our clients. With a commitment to innovation and growth, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Territory Manager to join our team in Perth. 

 

As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships within your assigned territory. This role involves understanding customer needs, promoting Valvoline's product range and executing strategies to achieve business targets.

 

This role will be covering the Southern WA region which include areas such as Bunbury and Busselton. This role will also require monthly overnight trips to regional areas including Albany and Esperance and the surrounds.

 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Manage and develop existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs by implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong and collaborative relationships with key accounts to achieve growth and optimize promotional activities.
  • Monitor and maintain existing customers and increasing Valvoline’s product range of business.
  • Liaise with supply chain on product forecasting and trends with view to seamless product supply to designated market segments.
  • Territory analysis of accounts for gross profit, client usage, follow ups with amortized accounts
  • On-going development of sales skills, product knowledge, customer service and teamwork
  • Review, analyse, and discuss monthly reports with State Manager
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance 

 

To be successful, you will have:

  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of sales success and business development
  • Great communication and organisation skills
  • Experience in the Industrial or Automotive industry is an advantage
  • Ability to function constructively within a team environment, as well as work autonomously. 
  • Motivated towards the achievement of individual and team goals
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative 
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, whilst not essential, would be highly regarded
  • The ability to be computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • A valid driver’s licence
