*Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. If local, we prefer candidates willing to work a hybrid in-office schedule (3 days per week). This position offers relocation assistance.
How You’ll Make an Impact
The Senior HR Business Partner consults with people managers on HR and talent-related matters. Helps to align efforts/output of HR centers of excellence (COEs) in support of assigned business units, departments, and/or regions. Delivers and coordinates talent management, compensation, and employee development processes/programs. Provides support and scale to more senior-level HR business partners and COEs, when needed and in conjunction with personal development.
In the role, you would be responsible for:
- Support the strategies, growth, and performance of the department by aligning and executing the appropriate HR and talent management activities
- Provide coaching and feedback to managers
- Facilitate the execution of annual and ongoing organizational and talent processes (onboarding, compensation, planning, talent reviews, performance management, etc. )
- Work with leaders and employees to resolve employee relations matters related to performance, compliance, and behavior
- Partner with leadership to build and sustain an inclusive, values-driven workplace culture that is reflective of our desired employment value proposition
- Enable organizational change management efforts related to strategy, structure, and technology
- Leverage reporting and analytics to identify trends and make decisions related to talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of ten years of HR experience in a variety of functional HR areas (talent development, talent acquisition, compensation, employee relations, organizational development, etc.) preferred, with greater depth in one or more of these areas required
- Experience in a corporate
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Basic critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills
- Basic experience using HRIS or other human resources systems
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
