How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)

The B2B Sales Manager will grow Valvoline Global market share within the assigned region, increasing distribution and portfolio penetration while ensuring national strategy execution through distributors. This role will develop and strengthen business partnerships with key customers and/or distributors, while developing their capabilities and ensuring their alignment. In the role, you would be responsible for:
- To drive, monitor and achieve sales targets for both new and existing Customers and Distributors and be accountable for their overall performance: Financial performance indicators: Volume, Revenue, GP, Credit.
- DSO and Controllable Costs; Sales Productivity performance indicators: Pipeline Strength, Cycle Time, New Customer Wins, Pipeline Management targets, monitoring and driving these measures business.
- Develop new channel activities with distributors; understand the activity, business and needs of distributors, provide sound information and advice on products and services, and to sell and negotiate win-win solutions with distributors and trade outlets.
- Plan calls and visits to provide the appropriate level of service to existing and new customers to retain/expand existing business relationships.
- Review & plan distributors business, products, service packages, contracts, prices, credit terms, credit limits and debt.
- Planning, implementation & execution of innovative marketing promotions in conjunction with Marketing Manager; and provide guidance in marketing initiatives to Customer.
- Develop sales plans and strategies for the assigned territory, to grow gross profit and volumes.
- Internal reporting, self-training, and administrative tasks.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales through distributors.
- Previous experience in a multinational company.
- Analytical skills, organizational agility, and critical thinking.
- Mentally strong, taking up challenges and growth of the organization.
- Hungry, humble and smart.
- Fair understanding of Microsoft Office.
- Able to speak in English (Mandatory).
- Have experience in Key Account or OEM will be an advantage
Competencies Desired
- Any Bachelor Degree
- B2B automotive market and applications knowledge and experience required.
- Lubricants experience.

- Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: Hybrid working
- Travel Requirements: 50-70% or as per business need
