Job Purpose

The Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Experience Cloud portals integrated with Manufacturing, Sales, and Service Cloud applications. This role will play a key part in delivering world-class digital experiences for customers, partners, and internal users through seamless portal interfaces and robust Salesforce functionality.

The developer will work across the Salesforce platform stack—including Experience, Sales, and Service Clouds—and will be responsible for integrating these solutions with marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce Data Cloud, and other connected applications. This position requires a strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices, multi-cloud architecture, and integration design patterns.

 

How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)

Experience Cloud Development: Design, build, and optimize Salesforce Experience Cloud portals for customers, partners, and distributors. Deliver responsive, user-friendly, and secure experiences aligned with global design standards.

Sales & Service Cloud Development: Develop and enhance Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud functionality, including automation, case management, workflows, and Lightning Web Components that integrate with Experience Cloud.

Technical Design & Documentation: Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs. Maintain robust documentation, reusable frameworks, and alignment with architectural standards.

Integration and Data Management: Build and maintain integrations between Commerce Cloud, MuleSoft, SAP, and other Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing). Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems. Ensure seamless data integrity, synchronization, and governance compliance.

DevOps, CI/CD, and Code Governance: Lead version control and deployment pipelines using GitHub, and Gearset. Implement automated testing and continuous delivery best practices.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Documentation: Partner with Product Owners, Architects, Administrators, QA, and Marketing teams to deliver end-to-end Salesforce solutions that align with business priorities.

 

What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
  •  5–8 years of Salesforce development experience across multiple clouds.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Experience Cloud development.
  • Proven experience developing on Sales and Service Cloud, including automation, APIs, and Lightning components.
  • Strong background integrating Salesforce with Google Analytics, Data Cloud, and marketing tools.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Gearset, and Git-based version control.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (Required)
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant (Preferred)
  • Salesforce Data Cloud or Marketing Cloud certification (Preferred)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II (Preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Advanced proficiency in Apex, LWC, and API development.
  • Deep understanding of Experience Cloud architecture, user authentication, and role-based access.
  • Strong knowledge of Sales and Service Cloud data models, process automation, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics integrations and Data Cloud configurations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global teams and balance multiple priorities.
  • Proven experience delivering scalable solutions in complex Salesforce multi-cloud environments.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Product Owners, Architects, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience working across global teams and complex multi-cloud Salesforce environments.
