Job Purpose

The SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Admin is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing system performance, ensuring data integrity, security, and reliable analytics to support business decision-making.

How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)

Job Purpose (Short Version)
The SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Admin is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing system performance, ensuring data integrity, security, and reliable analytics to support business decision-making.

SAP Datasphere Administration

• Administer and maintain SAP Datasphere environments (tenants, spaces, connections, and users).
• Manage data models, views, and data flows to support enterprise analytics.
• Configure and monitor data connections to SAP and non-SAP source systems (e.g., S/4HANA, BW, HANA, cloud sources).
• Oversee security roles, authorizations, and access controls.
• Monitor system performance, data loads, and resolve issues related to data availability and latency.
• Support data governance, data quality, and lifecycle management.
• Coordinate upgrades, patches, and new feature enablement.

SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Administration

• Administer SAP Analytics Cloud tenants, including user provisioning, roles, and security.
• Manage content lifecycle (stories, models, applications) across development, test, and production environments.
• Configure data connections between SAC and SAP Datasphere, BW, and other sources.
• Monitor SAC performance, usage, and system health.
• Support planning, predictive, and reporting use cases.
• Implement best practices for versioning, transport, and governance.
• Troubleshoot user issues and provide platform-level support.

SAP BOBJ

• User creation, security access, group creation.
• Folder creation, Folder level access.
• Access level security for Universe and Connection.
• Migration using Promotion Management/UMT.
• Scheduling reports.
• Application server configuration, web server configuration.
• Upgrade, Installation, Clustering and Patching activities.
• Authentication setup (LDAP,SAP,Enterprise etc.)
• SSL renewal
• CMC Overview
• Cleanup activity (User deletion/Archival)

What You Bring To The Role 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of experience in SAP analytics or data platform administration.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) administration.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration, and analytics concepts.
• Experience with SAP security concepts (roles, privileges, authorizations).
• Familiarity with SAP BW, S/4HANA, or HANA is a strong plus.
• Experience supporting cloud-based enterprise platforms.
• SAP certifications in Datasphere, SAC, BW, or HANA.
• Experience with transport management and multi-environment landscapes.
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Exposure to planning and predictive analytics in SAC.
• Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, documentation and process-oriented mindset.

The role will have the flexibility to be situated in an office environment or be remote.
