How You’ll Make An Impact

The Global Corporate Giving and Program Activation Senior Specialist will focus on managing corporate giving, ensuring financial transparency, and implementing community engagement programs globally aligned to the company’s sustainability, community engagement, and social impact goals. A key member of the Global Corporate Communications team, this role will be responsible for coordinating, executing, and tracking corporate giving and community engagement initiatives while managing financial reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate is passionate about corporate social responsibility and has experience in managing charitable contributions and collaborating in a heavily cross-cultural and cross-functional role. 

 

Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We are open to non-local candidates working 100% remotely but willing to visit HQs as needed. If local, we prefer candidates willing to work a hybrid in-office schedule (3 days per week). 

 

In addition, this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Program Implementation
    • Assist in developing, executing, and managing global CSR programs, ensuring alignment with the company’s CSR strategy and business objectives.
    • Coordinate and oversee project timelines, deliverables, and outcomes to ensure program(s) success. 
    • Track and report KPIs to senior management. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive awareness, employee participation, and impact of CSR programs across the global organization.
    • Build and maintain relationships with external partners globally including NGOs, nonprofits, and community organizations, to amplify the impact of CSR initiatives.
    • Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Human Resources, and other departments to champion community engagement among Valvoline Global Operations colleagues and support the development of long-term relationships with key community stakeholders.
  • Employee Engagement
    • Support and promote employee volunteering and giving programs, fostering a culture of social responsibility across global offices.
    • Working with the CSR Brand Manager, organize and execute corporate events, campaigns, and activities to increase employee participation in global CSR initiatives.
    • Measure and report on the effectiveness of engagement initiatives, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
    • Lead programs to foster a culture of performance, safety, belonging, and well-being, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
  • Data Tracking & Reporting
    • Coordinate, execute, and track community engagement and corporate giving efforts, ensuring alignment with company values and employee engagement goals.
    • Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, showcasing CSR program performance, insights, and future opportunities.
  • Corporate Giving and Service
    • Drive employee participation in giving and community service programs, integrating these activities into the overall employee engagement framework to build a sense of purpose and belonging.
    • Oversee the administration of corporate giving and service platforms, managing corporate donations, grants, and volunteer initiatives.
    • Manage tools and processes for the evaluation and approval of corporate gifts and donations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
    • Oversee the financial management of corporate giving funds, ensuring transparency and alignment with strategic ESG goals.
    • Manage and oversee the Donor Advised Fund, ensuring that donations align with the company's social impact strategy and goals.
    • Lead and manage the execution of Corporate Giving Campaigns, collaborating with stakeholders to develop impactful campaigns that engage employees and align with community needs.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, HR, Marketing, Social Sciences).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, Corporate Giving, or Philanthropy role.
  • Proven experience in employee engagement, community relations, and nonprofit management.
  • Familiarity with corporate giving platforms
  • Experience executing global programs
  • Experience leading corporate philanthropy/giving programs.
  • Exceptional and concise verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong history of leading teams and organizing talents with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proven capability of interacting with multiple levels of contacts, especially with senior leadership.
  • Recognized ability to work within diverse cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.

Pay range: $78,300 - $105,000 per year
