Job Purpose
We have a fantastic entry-level opportunity for an energetic, results driven and highly motivated Van Sales Representative to join our team in Melbourne.
This is a field-based role where you will be responsible for servicing existing customers in addition to developing new business within a territory that primarily services the South-East Melbourne.
You will also be provided with all the tools of the trade including a fully maintained company van & fuel card, iPad & mobile phone.
How You Make an Impact
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify new opportunities
- Drive a company van to service your territory daily
- Ensure that you achieve and strive to exceed all budgets
- Effectively manage customer contact and daily call cycle
- Maintain van stock and paperwork accuracy
- Work collaboratively with your Territory Manager in the sales region
- Maintain an accurate log on current and future customer needs
- Represent our brand with professionalism, enthusiasm and product expertise
- Ongoing development of sales skills, product knowledge, customer service and teamwork
What You Bring to the Role
- Demonstrate strong customer service and inter-personal skills
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Ability to function constructively within a team environment, as well as working autonomously to maximise sales opportunities
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
- The ability to apply basic computer skills
- Ability to drive a big van
- A valid Full current driver’s licence
Competencies Desired
- Field sales or customer service experience will be highly regarded
- Strong understanding or background in the automotive industry
- Experience in CRM-based applications would be an advantage, but not a necessity
