Opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Regional Business Development Manager – Franchise Dealerships to join our team in Melbourne.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for driving growth, developing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Prospecting for new business in the Franchised Dealership business segment.
  • Achieve sales budget for Valvoline lubricants and associated car care products.
  • Territory analysis of accounts for gross profit, client use and follow ups on amortised accounts.
  • Develop and implement account plans to increase share of account.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competition and potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Provide regular reports on business development activities, performance and forecasts.

 

To be successful, you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience within a relevant industry
  • Experience in an industrial or automotive industry desirable
  • Proven track record of sales success and business development
  • Excellent business acumen and attention to detail
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight trips to regional areas
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative 
  • Great communication and organisation skills
  • The ability to be computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, whilst not essential will be highly regarded
  • A valid driver’s licence
