Opportunity
We are seeking a self-motivated and results driven Business Development Manager – OEM / Heavy Duty Franchise Dealerships & Strategic Accounts to join our team in Melbourne.
Your main responsibility will be to acquire, maintain & grow OEM, HD FDL and Strategic Accounts in the Australia Pacific Region.
Responsibilities:
- Secure new OEM / HD FDL and Strategic National Account business in the Australia Pacific Region
- Develop and maintain a target listing of all OEMs/FDL and Strategic Accounts in the region
- Strategic Account Management of allocated OEM/ HD FDL & Strategic Accounts
- Develop and implement account plans to increase share of account (SOA)
- Responsible for executing Pricing Strategy to ensure maximisation of margin
- Assist in the execution of business/marketing plans in all allocated segments
- Ensure that field sales staff and sales management are briefed on new initiatives and provide training and information to assist the engagement of our sales and customer service staff
- Liaise with supply chain on product forecasting and trends with view to seamless product supply to designated market segments.
To be successful, you will have:
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- OEM experience will be highly regarded
- Considerable experience in the lubrication of FMCH industry preferred
- Proven track record of sales success and business development
- Bid management experience will be highly regarded
- Excellent business acumen and attention to detail
- Great communication and organisation skills
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
- The ability to be computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, whilst not essential will be highly regarded
- A valid driver’s licence
