Job Purpose
The Territory Manager will achieve and exceed set sales budgets within designated territory for Valvoline lubricants and associated Car Care products. The role will maintain major accounts and to prospect and secure new business.
How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)
- Achieve monthly sales targets in all categories
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the acquisition of new business
- Territory analysis of accounts for gross profit, client usage, follow ups with amortized accounts
- Monitor and maintain existing customers and increase Valvoline’s product range of business
- Liaise with supply chain on product forecasting and trends with view to seamless product supply to designated market segments
- Enhance brand awareness via executing national and local promotional activities
- Review, analyse and discuss monthly reports. Self-training and administrative tasks
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion
What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities)
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, such as business or marketing would be highly regarded
- 4+ years of relevant sales experience
- Experience in an industrial or automotive industry is desirable

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: General Office Setting and Driving in Motor Vehicle
- Travel Requirements: Frequent travel required, with customer meetings expected most days of the week, including up to 10% overnight travel per month
