Job Title: Head of Sales Levant and North Africa (Levant, Egypt & Maghreb)

Location: Dubai, UAE  (required frequent travel)

Reporting To: GM MEA

 

Role Purpose:

 

Lead and grow Valvoline’s commercial footprint in the Levant and North. The role is responsible for delivering sales growth, driving market share, and managing distributor and channel performance in alignment with regional strategy.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Own the sales performance for the Levant and North Africa region, ensuring achievement of revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
  • Develop and execute annual sales plans aligned with MEA growth objectives.
  • Build strong distributor partnerships, ensuring alignment on pricing, promotions, and channel strategies.
  • Implement tailored go-to-market (GTM) strategies for each country, considering market maturity, channel dynamics, and regulatory environments.
  • Expand channel presence (retail, workshops, industrial, fleet) and drive penetration of key product segments.
  • Manage price positioning, discount structures, and trade investments to maximize margins.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, annual joint business plans, and promotional agreements.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for the sales team

 

 

Qualifications & Skills

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • 12+ years of sales leadership experience in Lubricants, Automotive, or FMCG with exposure to distributor-led markets.
  • Proven track record in managing multi-country sales and delivering growth in complex markets.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; French highly preferred.
