Warehouse Operator I

The Warehouse Operator can be involved in both the incoming and outgoing flow of goods. This includes: receiving, checking and storing incoming goods; picking, packing and sending orders; performing inventory management and dealing with any deviations in shipments of stock. All this in a safe manner and in accordance with the requirements of Valvoline Global Operations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keeping stock in order and taking inventory keeping records;
• Checking incoming and outgoing orders for quality and quantity;
• Reporting any errors or improvements;
• Cleaning and tidying up the warehouse;
• Picking goods in a structured and safe way;
• Loading and onloading trucks;
• Drive a continuous improvement mentality.

Work experience:

• Preferably a minimum of 3 years work experience.

Licenses & certifications:

• Forklift;
• Reachtruck;
• ADR;
• VCA basis (can be obtained within 3 months of starting).

Knowledge, skills and competencies

• Experience in SAP and WMS systems;
• Logistics experience.
