Job Purpose
The Production & Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing and warehousing activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. This role ensures production meets customer demand within agreed timelines, manages inventory accuracy, and optimizes warehouse processes. The position plays a key role in driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement across both production and logistics functions.
How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)
Production Management
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities to achieve output targets.
- Ensure production is carried out in line with quality standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Monitor production KPIs and take corrective actions when performance deviates from targets.
- Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving for production issues.
- Collaborate with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, local regulatory requirements).
Warehouse Management
- Oversee all inbound and outbound warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory control through regular cycle counts and stock reconciliations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage relationships with transport providers to ensure on-time deliveries.
People Management
- Lead, train, and develop production and warehouse teams to achieve high performance.
- Plan staffing levels and shift patterns according to workload.
- Conduct performance appraisals and provide coaching and feedback.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and promote a zero incident culture.
- Proper cooperation with the departments of Maintenance & Engineering, Purchasing, HR, Scheduling/Planning, Shipping & Traffic, EH&
Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives across production and warehousing.
- Identify opportunities to reduce waste, increase productivity, and improve service levels.|
- Implement best practices for both manufacturing and logistics operations.
- Monitoring production costs, warehouse costs and managing budgets.
What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Logistics, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- 5–7 years of experience in a manufacturing & warehouse management role, ideally within a chemical, industrial, or automotive environment.
- Strong knowledge of operations, production planning, warehousing, safety, and logistics processes.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and improve operational performance.
- Familiarity with ERP and warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of EHS and quality standards relevant to manufacturing and logistics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Dutch and in English preferred.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Travel Requirements
This role is located on-site at the Dordrecht production facility. Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with regular exposure to industrial equipment, noise, and moving materials. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 kilograms as required. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory in designated areas.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal; occasional travel for training or cross-site coordination may be required.
