How You’ll Make an Impact
Partnering with leadership, acting as an enabler and delivering high-quality HR services and support operationally and strategically in their assigned geography, ensuring they foster a positive work environment and support the achievement of the organization's strategic goals.
This role partners with functional leaders to provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, recruitment, change management, compensation, and organisational development, while ensuring compliance with local employment laws and global HR policies.
Responsibilities Include:
Business Partnering
• Identify the business strategy, needs and drivers
• Support with translating business objectives into effective people strategies, ensuring that HR initiatives contribute to the overall success of the organization
• Foster strong relationships with stakeholders
• Identify the people capabilities needed for future growth and build into HR programs
Human Resources Advisory
• Provide comprehensive HR advice to management and employees on operational and strategic HR matters
• Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and organisational frameworks
• Offer guidance on employee matters, development, and employee relations
• Participate in disciplinary processes and lead investigations into code of conduct complaints
• Provide coaching and support to line managers
• Stay updated on employment laws and regulations across countries in the region
Change Management & Driving Excellence
• Provide direction and insights into organization structure reviews
• Implement effective change management processes ensuring policy and legal compliance
• Provide coaching to leaders to drive critical business changes ensuring legal processes are adhered to
• Identify opportunities for organizational improvements and escalate to leadership
• Lead and/or participate in projects and policy reviews to drive excellence across HR and the business
Industrial Relations
• Act as a liaison with works councils and trade unions
• Ensure harmonious relations with IR groups across the geography
• Lead the communication of key changes to IR groups to ensure compliance and transparency
Recruitment and Selection
• Partner with hiring managers on recruitment needs and approvals
• Recommend effective recruitment strategies and sourcing channels, working alongside Talent Acquisition team
• Support the development and use of selection tools and assessments
• Participate in the recruitment process for key hires
HR Administration & Reporting
• Drive reporting and analysis from sources such as exit interviews, employee engagement surveys, and HRIS
• Contribute to strategic business planning and HR policy development
• Maintain employee data and optimize use of HRIS for reporting
Remuneration and Benefits
• Collaborate with the global compensation team on market competitiveness and role benchmarking
• Support annual salary and incentive processes
• Monitor trends in compensation and benefits across the region, in conjunction with global compensation team
Talent Management
• Drive employee engagement activity, analyzing survey results and working with leaders to implement improvement plans
• Collaborate with the Talent Development team to plan and deliver training and development programs in the region
• Implement and monitor Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for key employees and successors
• Identify and track top talent and high-potential employees to ensure alignment with business needs
• Drive talent review processes and support succession planning initiatives
Leadership
• Lead a team of HR professionals, providing direction, coaching and development
• Foster a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
• Act as a trusted partner to business leaders, contributing to strategic decision-making.
What You’ll Need:
• A tertiary qualification with a specialty in Human Resource Management, Business Studies, or similar discipline preferred
• 5 years Human Resources management experience minimum
• Experience working within a sales/marketing and/or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of employment regulations across the geography
• HR Qualification preferred

• Excellent computer skills and software knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills; ability to obtain a win-win outcome
• Experience using and utilising a Human Resources Information System.
• Substantial hands on generalist human resources experience.
• Strong background in driving a recruitment process from start to finish
• Embodies the three virtues to be an ideal team player: hungry, humble and smart
