In this role you are responsible for the daily operational activities related to the delivery process while working with other departments to ensure that shipments are planned efficiently and in a timely manner.

 

Main tasks & responsibilities:

  • Create, plan and process deliveries based upon customer orders and stock transport orders (with respect to dates, material availability, incoterms)
  • Preparation of all required documentation necessary for shipping of orders, e.g. CMR and bill of ladings
  • Liaise with carrier representatives and Customer Service department to make arrangements, and to issue instructions for loading, shipping and delivery of materials
  • Interact with colleagues, departments, (external) warehouse(s) to ensure proper communication, timely loading and processing of deliveries and customer orders
  • File documents and perform other routine clerical tasks as assigned.

 

What you'll need for this role:

  • Min. MBO 4 diploma
  • 2 years of work experience (in a similar role)

 

Knowledge, skills & competences we are looking for:

  • Good to excellent English language skills both verbally and written
  • Knowledge of transportation & logistics
  • Experience with MS office
  • Broad knowledge of processes within a company
  • Working knowledge of SAP
