Job purpose

The Customer Service Representative is the first point of contact in the after sales process for Valvoline Europe customers. In this role, you will process incoming customer orders and requests, from order receipt, through delivery to invoicing. You have an assigned number of customers. Also, you will deal with customer complaints in an effective and professional matter to ensure and improve the customer satisfaction. The person in this role will be expected to have excellent customer relationship and communication skills and can engage with, and influence both external and internal customers and stakeholders. This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.

How you make an impact

  1. Order management: order entry, orders processing and follow up through the whole process also through EDI, DASH or other integrated tools.    
  2. Respond to customer product inquiries, requests and satisfaction issues.
  3. Instruct and liaise with warehouses, production facilities and carriers to prepare and arrange the shipment of goods.
  4. Execute Daily reports for Sales Order Management.
  5. Maintain Customer Master Data integrity (Winshuttle).
  6.  Provide proactive communication to internal and external customers.
  7. Support the organization by delivering excellent Customer Service and improve customer satisfaction.
  8. Utilize research skills to troubleshoot customer issues.
  9. Interface and close cooperation with regional business managers and their team members.
  10. Handling of complaints from beginning till closure including Service Cloud processing.

What you bring to the role

  • Minimum high school education degree.
  • Available to work in a hybrid setting (minimum 3 days in the office).
  • Preferably experience in an international environment.
  • Preferably experience in oil and gas industry, chemicals or related industries.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Windows applications and ERP Systems preferably SAP ECC, Service Cloud and OMP.

  • Pro-active team player with a can do and hands-on mentality.
  • Fluent in English and Italian (including written and verbal skills). 

PLEASE NOTE: This is a temporary position, you will be offered a 6 month contrac with the option of prolonguation depending on business needs.
