Job Purpose

The Director, Enterprise Program Execution - Finance is responsible for the financial, development, and build planning, governance, and value realization of complex, cross-functional enterprise programs and platforms that are critical to Valvoline Global’s transformation agenda. This role ensures that large-scale initiatives—such as the global implementation of SAP S/4HANA—are executed with strong stewardship, delivering expected business benefits, return on investment, and long-term value.

Operating as the finance workstream leader and execution integrator for the S4HANA implementation and future enterprise platforms, this role oversees program budgeting, investment prioritization, cost controls, benefits tracking, and financial risk management. The Director partners closely with Finance, IT, Supply Chain, and global business leaders to ensure programs are staffed and built appropriately, executed efficiently, and aligned to enterprise financial objectives.

How You Make an Impact (Job Accountabilities)

Financial Program Execution & Value Realization

• Execute end-to-end program finance workstreams including business case development and validation, budget planning, multi-year forecasting, and variance analysis
• Define, track, and realize expected benefits across cost savings, working capital, process efficiency, controls, and revenue enablement, partnering with Finance to ensure benefits are measurable and sustained post-implementation.
• Ensure enterprise programs—particularly SAP S/4HANA—are fully aligned to annual operating plans, capital planning cycles, and long-range financial targets.
• Embed strong financial controls, compliance, and audit readiness into program design and execution, particularly across Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Financial Close processes.

Enterprise Program Leadership

• Lead various enterprise program implementations with a primary focus on quality, value realization, and investment discipline, ensuring delivery within approved business cases, funding models, and capital guardrails. 
• Manage the design, build, deployment, and stabilization of large-scale enterprise initiatives, with a primary focus on the SAP S/4HANA finance workstream transformation across global markets.
• Partner closely with Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Operations, and external system integrators to ensure project requirements, controls, and reporting needs are fully integrated into program delivery.
• Drive execution rigor across all phases of the program lifecycle, including fit-to-standard design, global template development, localization, data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare.
• Integrate financial milestones, funding checkpoints, and performance KPIs into integrated program plans, ensuring project health is visible and actively managed.
• Own the management, productivity tracking, and optimization of system integrators and consultants, including scope adherence, velocity, cost efficiency, and value delivered across program phases.

Governance, Investment Prioritization & Risk Management

• Establish and lead financial governance frameworks for enterprise programs, including steering committees, funding approvals, and stage-gate reviews.
• Evaluate and prioritize program investments based on financial impact, risk, resource capacity, and strategic alignment.
• Identify financial risks early, including cost overruns, scope creep, and benefit leakage, and implement mitigation strategies to protect enterprise value.
• Provide transparent, executive-level reporting on financial performance, risks, and value realization.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Resource Stewardship

• Lead and develop program execution team members with accountability for financial performance and cost discipline.
• Oversee resource allocation and vendor spend to ensure efficient use of internal and external resources.
• Partner with Procurement and Finance to manage contracts, vendor financial performance, and commercial governance.

Stakeholder Communication & Executive Partnership

• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, including Aramco stakeholders, on the financial health and value delivery of enterprise programs.
• Communicate financial insights, trade-offs, and recommendations to enable informed decision-making at the enterprise level.

What You Bring to the Role (Job Qualifications / Education / Skills / Requirements / Capabilities)

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• 15+ years of experience in a global IT or ERP related role with a strong familiarity of finance-focused programs/platforms
• 5+ years of experience leading global enterprise-scale programs with significant financial complexity, including but not limited to ERP (SAP S/4HANA) implementations
• Demonstrated expertise in program budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and benefits realization
• Significant partnership experience with global Finance organizations, including FP&A and Controllership across the Americas/EMEA/Asia Pacific
• Deep knowledge of project and program management methodologies, consultant management and financial governance models
• PMP, PgMP, or related certification preferred
• Proven ability to manage large, multi-year program budgets and executive-level financial reporting

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements / Travel Requirements

• Climate-controlled corporate office environment
• Domestic and international travel requirements (up to 40%) during implementation/hyper-care support, stakeholder engagement, and global program rollouts
• Frequent participation in virtual and in-person meetings with cross-functional and executive stakeholders
• Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer

• Occasional standing, walking, or light lifting (up to 10 lbs)

• Frequent engagement in executive-level discussions, project meetings, and governance sessions.
• Requires strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
