How You’ll Make an Impact
- Effectively running high speed packaging equipment (fillers, labelers, palletizers, depalletizers, banders, bottle sorters, box formers).
- Performing hose hookups and line flushing.
- Safe operation of forklifts to move materials to the packaging lines and to move full case goods to awaiting trailers
- Make machinery adjustments to keep the packaging lines running smoothly.
- Perform inventory counts and receive/put away materials.
- This role will also need to perform multiple tasks to ensure your work areas are kept clean and organized in addition to performing quality checks multiple times throughout the shift.
- This person will collaborate with blenders, other packaging technicians, Team Leads, Managers, and Supervisors for order fulfillment.
- May be asked to create, verify, and reconcile inventory counts in accordance with SarbanesOxley guidelines.
- Other duties and special project may be assigned as needed by management (this list is not intended to be all inclusive of job responsibilities, rather it is an outline of basic job functions and other duties may be assigned as needed).
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prefer 5 years in a manufacturing environment with packaging knowledge.
- Must have forklift driving experience
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Ability to walk, bend, climb, stoop, some periodic lifting
- Attention to Detail
- Excellent skills in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and critical thinking skills.
- Proactively identifies improvements to processes, systems, and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication skills – Need to have both written and verbal communications with team members.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
