How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Receive incoming shipments from UPS, Motion, FedEx, Grainger, additives via LTL or TL and other multiple vendors.
  • Prepare material for shipping to other sites, other labs, repair facilities, and the corporate office.
  • Perform multiple cycle counts and/or coordinating recounts.

  • Coordinate LTL / TL outbounds and inbound.  Also coordinate full shipments to the sister distribution site.  Track full and empty trailers at the plant.

  • Direct new drum and tote truck drivers to the proper docks.

  • Unloads corrugate for the packaging lines and insure it’s staged properly when retrieving it for the packaging lines and ensure it is sequenced for proper retrieval.
  • Conduct good receipts in SAP for all incoming additive, corrugate, caps, bottles, parts, and base bulk oil.
  • Provide communication between maintenance and production for all parts that are put away.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

 

What You’ll Need

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Prefer 5 years in a manufacturing environment with packaging knowledge. 

  • Must have forklift driving experience

  • SAP experience is a plus

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. As well as Walking, bending, climbing, stooping, some periodic lifting.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
