The Production Assistant will primarily work in Valvoline’s Cincinnati Manufacturing Plant. The individual will share responsibilities within the admin team to support the plant. Primarily focusing on the inventory accuracy and processing of bulk lubricants and raw materials coming into and out of the plant.
How You’ll Make an Impact

Manage the process of scheduling, coordinating and processing the bulk shipments of finished products to distributors and other plants in the network.

Manage cycle count and inventory control processes including smoothing of counts to ensure balanced volume each month, material transfers, material adjustments.

Daily resolution to transactional based plant movements ensuring accuracy and timeliness of SAP transactions.

Coordinate investigations into inventory discrepancies. Manage all aspects of inventory including facility’s slow-moving, obsolete, excess and blocked materials.

Manage all facility shipment documentation including adherence to document retention management policy, shipment investigation and proof of delivery requests.

Support all functions of the admin team including working with visitors, processing documents, coordinating coverage and document control.
What You’ll Need

Bachelor's Degree
-
Minimum of 2 years administrative experience in a manufacturing, customer service and/or warehouse environment

Knowledge in SAP
-
Inventory managment experience
-
Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)

Excellent communication skills (Phone, IM, Email, in person)

Organization skills
-
Must be able to work overtime with little or no notice.

Some light lifting <25lbs. required

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
