Opportunity
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Manager to join our team in Baulkham Hills.
The Sales Support Manager will be responsible for the development maintenance, training and quality execution of the ANZ Bid Management Process across all channels.
You will lead or coordinate major tenders (incl tender writing) and New Business Transition management /Implementation for/with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Strategic Account Team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and be the subject matter expert across the entire ANZ business in respect of the complete offer that is available to clients across all available segments in which VGO currently operate
- Development, maintenance and training on Valvoline’s Bid Management process including schedules for contracts / Bids /Tenders
- Evaluating sales performance, conducting data analysis, researching and distributing potential new business opportunities while also driving the business review process for key accounts
- Project Management of Major bids by coordinating and supporting the OEM and Strategic Accounts Team, through internal workshops, Tender writing and bid submissions
- Project management of Valvoline / client Transition in process for major new business accounts
- Development, Implementation and ongoing enhancements for a business-wide tender/bid tracking document
- Be the Sales representative on the ANZ Product Strategy Team, working closely with Marketing, Technical and Supply to influence and drive our future product and service line up
To be successful, you will have:
- 5-10 years of relevant industry experience with technical knowledge across the segments and particularly relevant to more significant segments of Industrial, Transport, OEM LD and HD, Car and Truck Dealers
- Minimum 5 years bid management experience
- Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
- Excellent business acumen and attention to detail
- Great communication and organisation skills
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
- The ability to be computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, whilst not essential will be highly regarded
