Opportunity 

We are an innovative and fast-growing company seeking an analytical and forward-thinking Product Manager to join our team in Baulkham Hills.

 

In this role, you will oversee all our product lines and new solutions development, with a focus on maximising profitability, managing life cycles, and driving innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product success and continuous portfolio optimisation. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle for all product lines, from concept and development through launch, growth, and phase-out.
  • Maximise product profitability by managing margins, tracking cost changes and identifying opportunities for optimisation.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimise margins across the product portfolio, including through supply chain optimisation, procurement savings and product consolidation.
  • Conduct ongoing portfolio analysis to identify outliers and underperforming products; develop and implement corrective actions to drive cost efficiency.
  • Lead cross functional team meetings to ensure alignment and smooth execution of product initiatives.
  • Create project timelines for all initiatives, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
  • Track and report changes within the product portfolio, assessing financial and operational impacts to support decision-making.

 

To be successful, you will have:

  • Proven experience in product management, with a strong track record of managing diverse product lines and delivering profitable results.
  • Expertise in product lifecycle management, margin optimisation and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex product portfolios.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with the ability to reach effective resolutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
  • The ability to be computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
