Junior Product & Brand Manager

Job Purpose

Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity for a Junior Product and Brand Manager to join our team in Baulkham Hills, NSW.

Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you will assist in the development and execution of marketing objectives, strategies, and tactics in accordance with company goals and the strategic objectives.

How You Make an Impact 

• Support the Senior Product Manager to drive new product development, product updates and deletion of products.
• Participate in market research projects to understand the needs and drivers of the market and provide recommendations.
• Assist in the development and execution of advertising and promotional campaigns, monitoring performance against established objectives and recommending improvements to maximise campaign effectiveness.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
• Support the development and implementation of the Commercial & Industrial channel planning and marketing alignment to business priorities.
• Liaise and seek engagement of other departments for the implementation of key marketing initiatives.
• Actively participate in all marketing meetings.
• Effectively communicate all relevant Marketing information and data to all key business managers and sales personnel within your assigned business channel.
• Ensure all advertising complies with relevant legislation, industry standards and company policies.

What You Bring to the Role

• A tertiary qualification with a marketing discipline
• 1-2 years Marketing Assistant, Junior Product Manager, or similar role

• A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative 
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to problem solve
• Excellent computer skills and software knowledge, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
