Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Answering inbound phone calls and providing phone support for the business including providing price and availability of stock to customers.
- Providing first resolution customer service to Valvoline’s customers.
- Retrieving PO’s and uploading invoices to customer portals as required.
- Responding to email orders and enquiries from customers in a timely manner.
- Offering current promotions to customers to increase product range.
- Processing sales accurately and liaising with branch customer service, warehouses, accounts team, sales team, and technical teams.
- Assisting customers to determine the ETA of orders and delivery.
- Processing distributor and normal credits in a timely manner.
- Price variation request (PVR) processing for the company, override orders and second approval for pricing daily.
- Data entry for stock take count sheets and variance updates
To be successful, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Great communication and organisation skills
- A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
- High attention to detail and ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- The ability to quickly reach an understanding of customers’ requirements and provide a solution accordingly.
- Previous phone-based customer service experience will be highly regarded
- Ability to function constructively within a team environment
- A strong work ethic with a dedicated sense of achievement.
- The ability to be computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
