How You’ll Make an Impact
Lead, plan and direct the product portfolio management by managing the new product development process, developing the launch plan and monitor the product performance to identify the underlying reason and address the required actions to achieve the company target volume and profit. By coordinating with the internal team (i.e., sales, technical, supply chain team and the channel marketing manager, as well as keeping up to date the market information, requirement and customer insight to ensure the effectiveness of the plans.
Responsibilities Include
- Lead, plan and direct the portfolio strategy to achieve the company volume target and profit throughout the product life cycle, as well as drive and accelerate the strategic product groups (e.g. PCMO, Grease and Coolant) for growth and profitability.
- Lead and organize the new solution development in launching the product, service and solution that meet or create the market’s requirement by coordinating with the related parties i.e., sales, technical, supply chain and PLM.
- Develop and implement the launch plan covering from identifying the target customers, developing the key messages for the communication, conducting the internal and external launch including the designing of the support promotions and programs as well as the required sales KIT.
- Monitor the product performance and identify the underlying reason and implement the action plan to meet the company target. This includes monitoring and keeping the up to date on the competitors’ products and benchmarking vs the related competitors in the market, in order to develop the effective plans.
- Keep up to date the market information and the customer insight as input for the product development process.
- Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Admin. Or related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in marketing.
- Experiencing in the product management role in the lubricant industry with a good understanding in automotive and lubricant industry, especially the relevant standards.
- Initiative / Creative : in order to drive the project management with business development thinking.
- Good command of both written and spoken English.
- Good interpersonal skills / Helpful.
