How You’ll Make An Impact

 

The Digital Solutions Consultant plays a pivotal role in transforming how the organization leverages digital tools to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve business goals. This role fosters collaboration among stakeholders, guides decision-making processes, and ensures alignment and finalization of requirements. It manages regular business reviews to maintain operational consistency, provides detailed analytics, and leads strategic discussions for continuous improvement. And this role involves coaching teams and developing actionable plans to maximize the effectiveness and value derived from digital tools, ensuring they are leveraged to their full potential.

 

  1. Lead Regional Adoption and Readiness 

    a. Serve as the front-office adoption leader for Sales and Marketing Enablement tools, including Salesforce CRM, Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Beat Planning solutions, and other digital tools. 

    b. Provide regional data governance, technical support, and training to ensure smooth adoption and usability of the tools. 

    c. Manage deployment and onboarding for regional customers, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.

  2. Manage Business Readiness activities 

    a. Lead Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the reliability and functionality of tools and features. 

    b. Oversee deployment communications and rollouts, addressing knowledge gaps with targeted training programs. 

    c. Collaborate with regional teams to identify readiness challenges and ensure successful implementation of new solutions.

  3. Drive Regional Product Strategy and Roadmap 

    a. Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for CX and CRM applications, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and market needs. 

    b. Gather and analyze feedback from customers and stakeholders to drive iterative improvements and feature enhancements. 

    c. Develop and maintain roadmaps, securing regional sign-off and alignment with global tools and solutions.

  4. Deliver Data-Driven Insights and Reporting 

    a. Collaborate with Business Owners, Product Owners, and IT Business Analysts to design and deliver comprehensive dashboards and reporting tools. 

    b. Use data insights to monitor product performance, inform strategic decisions, and identify opportunities for improvement. 

    c. Present data-driven recommendations to leadership to enhance outcomes and address emerging challenges

  5. Drive accountability for KPIs and Success Metrics:  

    a. Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of digital tools and initiatives. 

    b. Provide regular updates to leadership on product performance, success metrics, and future opportunities. 

    c. Ensure accountability across teams for achieving performance goals and driving measurable business outcomes

  6. Leverage Regional Business Knowledge:  

    a. Act as the Centre of Excellence (CoE) Subject Matter Expert (SME), bridging regional business knowledge with enterprise digital teams to inform strategic decisions. 

    b. Identify market-specific opportunities and challenges, tailoring product strategies to meet local needs while aligning with global and regional priorities. 

    c. Serve as a trusted advisor to regional stakeholders, ensuring product alignment with organizational objectives

  7. Other duties and responsibilities as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion.

  8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance product strategies and execution.

 

What You’ll Need

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, technology, engineering, or related field
  • 3 to 4 years’ experience in product management, B2B and/or B2C sales, marketing, sales operations, or related field. 

  • 2–3 years of experience collaborating with digital teams or managing digital projects. 

  • Proven track record in driving growth in Sales Territory and Account.  

  • Proven track record in driving customer-focused solutions and delivering measurable business outcomes.  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel. 

  • Familiarity with business analytics tools such as SNAP, BW, BI Tools, or similar platforms. 

  • Experienced in designing and creating dashboards and reports

 

What Will Set You Apart

 

  • Hands-on experience with product roadmaps, backlog management, and sprint planning, supported by proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms. 

  • Expertise in sales territory management tools, including call planning and beat planning solutions (e.g., Salesforce Maps, MapAnything, or equivalent). 

  • At least 2 years’ project management experience.

  • Salesforce Certifications (e.g. Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator or equivalent). 

  • Project Management Certifications (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2 or similar).
