Opportunity 

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Territory Manager to join our team in Brisbane.

 

This is a field-based role primarily responsible for achieving and exceeding sales targets in the Sunshine Coast region. In this role, you will focus on building and maintaining strong customer relationships while identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.  

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Monitor and maintain existing customers and increase Valvoline’s product range of business.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through lead generation, prospecting and networking. 
  • Enhance brand awareness via executing national and local promotional activities.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key business prospects and major clients to secure new accounts, drive growth, and ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop tailored offerings that meet the specific needs of our customers.
  • Analyse performance metrics to continuously improve outreach effectiveness and lead generation activities.

 

To be successful, you will have:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a sales/business development role.
  • Experience in an industrial or automotive industry is desirable.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight trips to regional areas
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong ability to manage your own time and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of sales success and business development
  • Excellent business acumen and attention to detail
  • A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative 
  • The ability to be computer savvy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • A valid driver’s licence
