*Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We prefer local candidates willing to work an in-office work schedule (3 days per week). We are open to relocation assistance.

How You’ll Make an Impact

The Financial Analyst works closely with the Americas Finance Director, Valvoline Global executive leadership, Supply chain and resource staff throughout the organization to evaluate business growth opportunities. This specific position will spend time analyzing the acquisitions, capital investments, working capital and other strategic VGO initiatives. In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Preparation of economic valuations, developing appropriate operating and financial assumptions, performing financial due diligence, and supporting project post-audits
  • Evaluate alternative business cases in a thorough and strategic manner
  • Support both short-term and long-range planning
  • Benchmarking and reporting KPIs

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or finance

  • Minimum 6 years applicable experience in Finance; minimum 3 years of experience in project evaluations using discounted cash flow modeling
  • Preparation of economic valuations, developing appropriate operating and financial assumptions, performing financial due diligence, and supporting project post-audits
  • Willing to work under deadline pressure and a fast learner
  • Thorough understanding of Discounted Cash Flow Analysis
  • Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis
  • Thorough understanding of project management
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven skills in advanced analytical and data mining, and complex Microsoft Excel data models
  • Strong working knowledge of financial and operational processes
  • Expertise in solutions identification and implementation
  • Has advanced knowledge and experience in most or all finance functions. Full knowledge of business unit operating environment. Ability to provide direction on process improvement opportunities.
  • A good team player that shows humble, hungry and smart, able to collaborate well with members within and beyond finance
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% annually
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
