*This position will work Monday Friday, rotating shifts, 2 weeks of 7am-3pm and 1 week of 3pm-11pm*
How You’ll Make an Impact
The Electrician Mechanic will be working on our manufacturing floor on packaging equipment, fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, and palletizers. This position will also require the use of multiple chemical hoses, tanks, drum decanting, forklifts, fall protection equipment, and bulk/railcar loading and unloading. In the role, you would be responsible for:
- Ability to operate computers that use proprietary blending software
- Ensure your work areas are kept clean and oranigzed, in addtion to performing quality checks multiple times thrhough the shift
- Work with automated controls; photo eyes, limit switches, pneumatic solenoids and cylinders, and panel view parameters
- Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and routine adjustments
- Working on rotating equipment; pumps, compressors, motors, drivers, conveyors. Disassembly, replacing worn parts, replacing gaskets, and/or packing, alignments
- Facility maintenance- boiler, water system, compressed air, lighting, exhaust fans, make up air units, ect.
- Other duties and responsibilties as determined by Valvoline from time to time in its sole discretion
What You’ll Need
- Vocational or Technical School graduate
- 5+ years' experience in industrial manufacturing,
- Licensed Electrician
- Working knowledge of liquid filling and metering systems, conveyors, 120v and 480v equipment, Maintenance Connect
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
